to choose one over another, such as features, flexibility, etc. Are there aspects that can be tuned to fit your car, or are you stuck with what they give you? If I understand it right, unless the ECU is dyno tuned to your car, they are pretty much guessing at your requirements based on your mods. It sounds like you would be targeting two different types of customers...those that want to just drop the ECU in and go, and those that want their ECU perfectly optimized for their setup. Like xybertron was trying to say, different manufacturers target different needs for their customers. I don't know much about how the ECU works in the first place, so a primer on ECU basics would be great also! By the way, I have a subscription, so I'll be watching for that article!
